Wanda Gibert and her husband, John, started their home school journey in 1986. As one of the pioneering families in Illinois, The Gibert’s have been active in home school leadership positions from the onset. Currently Wanda serves with her husband on Illinois’ state board, Illinois Christian Home Educators (ICHE) and uses her gifts to bring practical solutions to “problems” within the home school arena. Being a recipient of God’s great grace toward her, Wanda loves to open her heart and home to all that need a safe haven. Loving God, her husband, John, and being mom to her six children, the four oldest of which have graduated from home school, and Me-Mee to her granddaughter, Nyel, is one of her greatest joys.
