We want to encourage the home businesses of our homeschool students and graduates. This year at the convention, homeschool entrepreneurs will have the opportunity to purchase a vendor table or place a classified ad in the handbook for a small fee. Tables are limited.
Join Joe Denner for a series of three workshops over the course of the convention. Identify your natural, God-given talents and create a plan of how to develop those talents into functional strengths and leadership. Utilizing the suggested assessment test will be very helpful but not required. Details are listed with Joe’s speaker information on our website.
Worldview Academy is coming to us! In a culture buffeted by widely divergent philosophies, Worldview Academy stands on the solid foundation of scripture, training students and adults to understand their faith as a total worldview. We are pleased to have Bill Jack with us this year. You will find his presence engaging as you find answers to the hard questions. He will be joining us on Friday and Saturday with eight delightful workshops. Great for young people.

Turn the stressing into a blessing by acquiring teaching and parenting strategies for the littlest homeschoolers and make them part of the team. God’s call upon us as parents can be challenging and rewarding – all at the same time! Our roles within the family play an important part in creating a peaceful atmosphere in our homes and relationships. They bring order to what would otherwise be confusion. Be spurred on to deal rightly with those you love and move forward with confidence! Moms and dads will be greatly inspired by the array of speakers and dynamic workshops geared to strengthen us as we wear sooooo many hats!

Bring hope to your family! Join experts and fellow home schooling parents in finding the answers to your child’s learning issues. We are very excited to introduce Dr. Jeremy J. Fritz to the homeschool community at ICHE’s 2010 Convention! He brings extensive experience working with special kids, as well as dedication and passion to the workshops he will be presenting. He will help give you an in-depth understanding of just how your child’s brain works, and where breakdown may be occurring. Once he establishes this foundation, his focus turns to solutions—practical advice and specific strategies to help your student achieve his best!
Not sure you want to tackle high school? Need some vision for the home stretch? You can successfully teach your children through this season of their life – and it’s not as hard as you think. These years can be the most important of all! Take heart and keep your family vision intact with the encouragement you’ll receive from these workshops. This year you can hear from both sides. A home school graduate and a parent of many graduates will provide hope and direction for high school in the home. Be sure to check out the workshops available to you on this pathway!
We are pleased to announce the age range for young people encouraged to attend the convention with their parents now includes pre-teens (11-12). This is a unique opportunity for our youth to see hundreds of families in the home schooling community gather together. Their foundations will be strengthened and their lives will be touched!
We are thrilled to see your teens and young adults attend the convention with you! Their hearts are stirred and their vision solidified when they gather with hundreds of home school families for mutual encouragement in walking with the Lord. Our prayer is that through their attendance with you, the next generation will be filled with the knowledge of His will in all wisdom and spiritual understanding. Teens and young adults alike will appreciate understanding their God-given purpose and being challenged to fulfill it. Workshops such as worldview, leadership, hands-on science, courtship, starting a home business and insights from a home school graduate are a part of this pathway!
