These talks will be assigned to specific time slots and rooms in the coming weeks

Film is a “language". But how do we speak that language? And what are we trying to say? What stories are we trying to tell? In this session learn the importance of telling a compelling story in your film and some tips on how to craft your story.

Specifically we'll be looking at story structure and patterns, character development, story boarding, using the camera to tell your story, lighting, editing, and the use of music. We'll progress through developing and writing your story, to filming, to editing your movie, and finally to sharing your story with your audience! All along the way learn how you can use your every available resource to tell your stories and make greater and better films!
